Overview
Jusstalk does not require an account, does not run ads, does not use analytics, and does not track you across apps or websites. You can either use your own Mistral API key without buying Jusstalk, or use the included managed service through the one-time in-app purchase.

Third-Party Services
- Mistral AI: https://mistral.ai/terms - receives audio for transcription and text for requested AI formatting
- Jusstalk managed relay: first-party VPS service that verifies access and forwards managed requests to Mistral without retaining audio or transcription text
Personal API Key Mode
When you add and validate your own Mistral API key, requests go directly from your device to Mistral. Jusstalk does not receive, proxy, or store that key or the associated audio and text. Mistral's own prices, credits, quotas, rate limits, terms, and privacy practices apply to your account.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No name, email, contact list, or Jusstalk account
- No precise GPS location, location history, advertising IDs, analytics profile, or tracking data
- No ads, cookies, or cross-app tracking
- No data sold to third parties
Microphone Permission
Jusstalk requests microphone access only so you can record audio for transcription. You control when recording starts and stops.
Retention and Deletion
Audio awaiting transcription, transcription history, and preferences remain on your device unless you delete them, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Temporary export files may be created on your device so you can share or save them.
Anonymous Suggestions on This Website
The suggestion form does not request an email address. The project, message, and submission date are retained for no more than one year to guide the product. The IP address is never stored: it is used only to calculate a temporary abuse-prevention fingerprint that expires with its one-hour or 24-hour window. Do not include personal or sensitive information in your message.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
